Description
CMB Yachts 114 was bought by her current owner in September 2017 and her refit began shortly afterwards. It was clear at purchase that the wooden core was in very good shape, so the refit focused on updating the boat cosmetically both externally and internally, and updating her systems.
Previous blue vinyl wrap was removed and she was fully repainted with the addition a 'racing stripe'. The hull was sanded back and the wooden hull was thoroughly checked before application of new epoxy layers and new antifouling. At this time the high quality teak decks were also sanded back and re-varnished, and the propeller and shaft/loom were reconditioned.
Internally, the original decoration and furnishings were completely gutted, and all of the wiring was replaced. To create a more spacious and open plan feel to the main deck, the ceiling was lifted and finished with a new headlining, including built-in LED downlights.
All the interior floors were sanded back and re-varnished. All new kitchen units and appliances were fitted.
